Hormone Replacement Therapy
Getting your life back has never been easier.
Our approach
It all begins with being heard. Hormone Replacement Therapy is a complex specialty that requires consistent education, development, and open-mindedness to treatment options.
It’s not just professional, it’s personal…
“Where do I begin?” There is a huge misconception of what Hormone Replacement Therapy should entail. Some people are told they should just be given some pellets or testosterone shots; for some people, it’s a prescription of oral Estradiol and send them on their way, or the worst of all, for some people, they are dismissed and told it’s just part of life learn to embrace it.
As someone who has personally suffered from these complex issues, I’m here to confidently say it is not okay; it is not just part of life, and no, I will not just learn to embrace it.
Symptoms that occur from unbalanced hormones can dramatically impact your quality of life every day. From sleep disturbances, fatigue, mood swings, irritability, decreased sex drive, foggy thinking, loss of memory, anxiety disorders, hair loss, dysfunctional bleeding, weight gain, and so many more symptoms, living with these symptoms becomes miserable.
I want you to imagine waking up every day and trying to make it through each day with eight or more symptoms (the average amount a patient experiences in one day). It’s exhausting, and unfortunately, that’s what a patient with hormone imbalance struggles with every single day. Now add life, kids, marriage, work, family issues, and external stressors, and tell me if you would be embracing that. I’d beg to say you wouldn’t.
Unfortunately, it requires an extreme amount of time and devotion as a provider to really be able to recognize and form successful treatment plans for each patient and their unique needs. This isn’t often an option for most providers. That’s where it became more than personal and translated into a professional interest. I took a step back from Aesthetics and dedicated a considerable portion of my life to becoming credentialed in Hormone Therapy and Naturopathic Medicine. Mandy and I traveled to learn from the best providers we could find. We flew and attended conferences from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm to understand not only how Hormones impact the entire body, but we even attended conferences to know how the treatment medications are compounded, how we could uniquely treat every single patient to make their quality of life the best it could be.
That’s why our approach is unmatched. We spend so much time with our patients, getting to know their bodies and symptoms. We do four-point lab testing (the gold standard for HRT) to follow your body throughout the day instead of just a one-time blood draw. Your body is dynamic and changes throughout your day depending on your routine, work, and home life. That’s all considerations to be made when developing your treatment plan.
Our process starts with a physical exam and then a one-hour symptom and medical history counseling session. This is followed by lab work and then a one-hour appointment to discuss your lab work results and treatment options. We explore treatment options combining medicine and a holistic approach so our patients can make informed treatment choices and not settle for less.
If you’re ready to live life without a constant daily symptom struggle, schedule your appointment today.
